Elly Anderson siteA web site I designed and developed for a photographer in St. Croix. It features a custom CMS in addition to an AJAX-driven gallery and shopping cart.
Interactive color cubeThis glowing acrylic cube changes color based on its orientation. The 54 RGB LEDs inside are controlled by a 3-axis accelerometer.
Inspirational wall decorAn encouraging piece of framed art I made for my girlfriend's birthday. Designed in Photoshop, it incorporates a few of her favorite things: green, butterflies, some flowers from a photo of mine, and a scripture passage.
SIFE report designAn annual opportunity I've had for the last three years, doing a printed report design for a student organization on campus to take with them to competition.
Design portfolio 1A sampling of web design work I did during my time with Gottathink, LLC. I was their primary graphic designer for a year and a half, and I greatly improved my design skills while working with them.
Whitestone album designI had the privilege of doing the photography and graphic design for my brothers' band's debut album. I also assisted them with recording and producing the CD, as well as creating them a website.
Freehand drawingsI rarely make time for art these days, but I do enjoy drawing from time to time. Here are some pencil drawings from my high school days.
Traffic control systemA class project in which we developed a traffic control system on a CPLD using VHDL. Features a scale model (complete with matchbox cars), touchless sensors in the lanes, and LED signals over the intersection.
Footswitch for MR-8I love my Fostex multitrack recorder, but it didn't do quite all that I wanted it to. Here's a quick look at some modifications I did to make it a great tool on stage as well as in the studio.
Rubik's cubingWhen one claims to solve a Rubik's cube in under a minute, you know they've gone off the deep end. For me, I enjoyed the challenge of learning it, and now it's just a fun hobby (and a great travel companion).
Custom studio deskAs a high schooler, I designed and built a desk for my home studio. It meets my needs really well and actually turned out looking pretty nice.
Stereo receiverBack in high school, I built a "receiver" for my custom speaker setup using some circuit boards out of an old tape player.
Photography 1While I've never had a nice camera, I really enjoy trying to capture the beauty around me from time to time. Here are some of my favorites photos from the past few years.
